Park Road Kennels & Cattery are owned and managed by Derek & Ann Haslam. The Kennels were established over 30 years ago, which gives them the kudos of being one of the longest serving kennels, on the Furness Peninsula.

All our kennels are indoors, they are also, double glazed & heated. The kennels are large enough to accommodate up to 3 dogs from the same family. All breeds of dog welcome from the  largest to the smallest!

The cat pens are all indoors , again they are large enough to acommodate up to 3 cats from the same family, are heated  & double glazed.  All have ledges, to allow the cats to sit and look out of the windows .

Bedding is supplied and washed, every other day . Your dogs will be walked twice daily at no extra charge . All dogs and cats will be fed to the owner’s specifications. Medication and supplements are administered free of charge.

We also run a reasonably priced bathing service.  And a pick up and delivery service for your convenience.

All Charges include boarding, food, walking & heating – there are no hidden extras .

Our prices are probably the lowest and in the area & we do not put our prices up over Xmas & New Year period .

We are open 365 days a year , the only time we are closed to the public is Xmas Day , Boxing Day & New Years Day ( of course we look after the dogs & cats whom we have boarding with us over this period )

No minimum stay – anything from 1 day upwards, day boarders are welcome.

All dogs & cats must be fully vaccinated to comply with our licence & inspections are welcome any time .

We have resided at Park Road Kennels for 10 years and have established an excellent reputation during this time!

We have been involved with dogs all our lives and have bred and shown our award winning dogs across the UK. We are very proud to include winning at Crufts, amongst our many triumphs!

Opening times – Mon – Fri  9am – 12noon  – 4pm – 5pm
      Sat & Sun – 9am – 11am
     Bank Holidays – 9am – 10.30am
We are flexible with our opening hours in emergencies.

Prices – Dogs ( all breeds, all sizes ) £8 per day per dog

 Cats – £5 per day per cat

Pets going home before morning closing time, will not be charged for that day.
