Appearing At West Cumbria Game Fair
Darren Kirk has been training gun dogs for over 25 years and has the experience to get you and your dog to a standard you can be proud of. Darren and his team of trainers will assess where you currently are with your dog and give you a structured programme to ensure you can move forward with your training.
We have many breeds coming along to our training session. Hunt point retrieve HPR, Labrador Retriever, Setters, Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Flat Coat Retrievers and Golden Retrievers. Last year in a local working test, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place were held by Kirkbourne gun dogs. This is a great achievement to have our club members holding so high in the ratings at a working test…..
We hold regular training sessions at Stubbs Hall Farm, Hampole, Doncaster,
DN6 7EZ. Every Sunday from 10am- 12pm and Wednesday 6.30pm - late there is a novice class. The classes are designed to get the very basic foundation blocks into the training of your dog. They are open classes and all you have to do is come along and join in. The cost to join the club is £6 per year, membership runs from July to July and for each training session the cost is £5. Our training ground is an ideal place to come and test your dogs. We have a safe area to train novice dogs where it is enclosed so there is no need to worry about dogs running into trouble.
